SUMMER’s DRUMMER A BOLOGNA

DRUM PACKAGE BASIC AND PRO LEVEL “During the holidays we are free and willing to do what we love most: PLAYING THE DRUMS! We offer a series of short meetings to be managed freely within the summer for all kind of requests”.

1) DRUM LEVELS PACKAGE
BASIC LEVEL 1 – To get a correct basic setting and learn to play the first rhythms and the first fills in a few hours. Also includes a pair of Vic Firth drumsticks and a collection of audio tracks to learn.

MEDIUM LEVEL 2-3 – Rock, Pop anf Funk Music, Fill-in and Linear phrases.

ADVANCED LEVEL 3-4 – 12/8 rhythms, Basic Independence, Latin Essentials, Odd Meters.

PRO LEVEL 5-6 – Independence, Ostinatos, Solo Techniques.

2) DIFFERENT STYLES PACKAGE
ROCK and METAL – All the main rhythms and fills of Rock and Metal music. From the 70’s of Deep Purple and Led Zeppein until today. It includes the approach with double pedal and a collection of tutorial videos on its use.

LATIN  – All the main Latin American’s rhythms (Afro Cuban – Brazilian), from the origins to the present. It also includes a video method + different drumless audio.

REGGAE and SHUFFLE – All the main rhythms and fills of Reggae and Blues music. It includes the video method “Blues and Shuffle“.

SWING and JAZZ – Learn the exercises necessary to achieve independence and jazz-style phrasing with a simple and clear method. It also includes swing and jazz drumless audio to practice.

HIP-HOP, RAP and FUNK  – From funk to hip-hop and rap. It includes “History and Technique of Afro and American Style” drum method + a collection of different drumless audio.

3) THEORY and RHYTHMIC SOLFEGGIO PACKAGE
BASIC or ADVANCED MUSIC THEORY and SOLFEGGIO – Simple method of approach with the main rhythmic figurations up to include syncope, cut time, Jazz interpretation etc.

ODD METERS, SWAG DRUMMING – Practical approach to the use of irregular figures and to odd ones.

4) STUDIO, LIVE and PRO PACKAGE
STUDIO SESSION  – Basic learning about mixers, microphones, sound-card in order to create a professional workstation. Practical tests for recording audio tracks with clicks. At the end of the course you can have your own performance recorded with acoustic drums.

MUSIC AS A PROFESSION – The basic rules for creating your own story as a musician with commitment and dedication and obtaining concrete results.

LIVE PERFORMANCE – All aspects related to live: from equipment, to backline, use of monitors and in-ear, sequences, E-drum etc. and approach with the audience and managers.
